You And I - Poem by neha raj singh
Breathe me into your arms,
Shatter each inhibition,
Strike the match upon the earth,
Let the flames engulf us in famish,
Scorch each inch of skin.
Be in oneness of you & I .
I watch you from the corner of my eyes, you come to me, have you brought all of you?
Love, hold me a moment longer.
Tormenting is the temp tress.
A sinfully rich ache she creates,
A tingling luster she bestows upon my throbbing heart.
The sense of you seeps into the depths of my nothingness,
It is all of you, all of me.
Essence, flares into my gushing blood.
There is a frenzy in my heart,
In the distance of the I, its rippling calm.
Love, hold me for you.
Oh luna! we bathe in your light,
sensual is the flavor of your touch,
Ever so light, so slight, in indulgence I may redeem myself.
My darkness succumbs into your beauty, it is my most priceless.
The illusions of night, lay me by your side, in every crease of you, I tremble.
the veil is sheer, gaze upon me.
I reveal all of I.
I would lie. I see none other.
A futile pretense,
A temple built with cracks.
Love, hold me for me.
The masquerade ball flaunts fleeting shadows ,
Worthless it is.
Let us not remain.
the sweet melody of violet dawn, seeks us.
sweeping in her fleece I merge into your tide.
Swallow the haze in me.
Kiss me with your frosty lips.
Caress the rawness of my skin.
As I have burnt my animate,
I am what you hold, I am what I hold. Love,
You and I, we are the beloved.
