He Can Be Poem by Upper Swing

He Can Be

He can be all the great things he needs to be
And see all the great things he needs to see,
He can live his life without one thought of me.

He can rise in the morning,
Raise my hopes, then, without warning,
Leave me there alone again.

But then...

He can be all that he is without me;
I can only be lonely without him.
