He Is No More Poem by Raj Yura

He Is No More

I heard you say hello
but on the turning away
I heard you again, but this time fainter
I would have fainted for the vodka
and say your life is all cries
when I walked away from the junction
only to see you cry for solitude
and you are no more, but death is a burden
on the soul of life which is in love with men
and whose warden is my class fellow
for he wanted fun, and in the end it comes
inebriated, the goddess of death to flirt with you
and the whole world no more a playground!
