He May Not Know - Tanka - Poem by Ena Nin

he is a tyrant
towering above their heads
list'ning to no one
this morning, the moon will hide
it only glows in the dark

    let the moon watch me
    while my shadow wandering
    in coconut grove
    looking for my cute maiden
    there she is bathing

    how are you pretty
    would you mind racing to shore
    where moon's eyes can't see
    i have a surprise for you
    buried beneath tree

    this is twonka
