He Said Take All Poem by norman hale

He Said Take All

Take all of your burdens
And lay them at my feet
Then feel rest assured
That you are one of my sheep

Take all of your worries
Let them worry you no more
May you always have peace
While walking along the peacefull shore

Take all of your tears
And wipe them from your cheek
Wear your happy smile
No more tears shall your eyes leak

Take your shaking hand
And place it here in mine
For I will always lead you
Beyond the end of time

Take out your broken heart
And hand it here to me
I shall fix it like new
To last you through eternity

Take your crippled old bodies
For we have put them to a test
Now we can give them a break
For they surely need some rest

Take and give me your soul
And I shall cover it in gold
Then you'll never be more weary
In this land that never grows old

Take and give me this chance
I will never lead you a stray
You will see it all come together
On, what you know, as judgement day
