He tells me:
'your thoughts are from me;
I gave you my brain to think;
Without brain what could you be?
Just a clod!
I cut you after me, in my shape;
And of my spirit I blew into you;
And still I have not torn apart,
From myself you;
I let you have me, all of me!
I showed you,
What could you write with my pen;
What could you write without my mighty pen?
I warned you about me,
O man! never speculate about me;
I am beyond and beyond your imagination!
I gave you a chance to know me;
Remember the covenant on the First Day!
But that covenant with me you broke;
I gave you chance after chance to know me;
Far and far you broke away from me;
You told me,
It was an accident;
But was it really so?
Was it not intentional on your part?
I lowered my standards to make it easy,
For you to know me;
If you just give yourself to me,
I will give myself to you;
My eyes to see me!
My ears to hear me!
My intellect to understand me!
But you created and adored instead,
Fictional characters and false deities;
How can you know then my reality?
The superstitions sound,
Far more appealing to you,
Than what is my reality;
I told you about me;
I told you who I am;
But you plugged up your ears,
And ran away;
Rather you took up the trash,
In place of the book of guidance;
Metaphors are shitty and knotty;
So let me just be honest,
And tell you plainly:
I love you;
I really love you;
You are from me;
Don't you know me? '
