He, The Aged Man Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

He, The Aged Man

He, the aged man
He still remembers his lady-love
But bends his eyes.

He loves her still, though old
And aged.

She reciprocates.

And in their bosoms breathes a calm serene

Two adjacent flames, in one larger
Joining, leaping forth.
