He Was, No Longer



He was strong man.
Strong as the
strongest man alive.
Both physically
and mentally.

He was brave.
As brave as Moses
when he set the Isrealites
free from Egypt

He was also a coward.
As scared as a
three year old boy
who belives
there is a monster
living under his bed.

He killed himself.
For strength, bravery
and cowardliness
are waters
that cannot reside
in the same pond.

I like how the last stanza summarized it all... and how the first two stanzas prepared me for it. Great work.
