THe Great God is absconding
I have frantically searched Him
by sailing the seven seas
I have gone around the globe
I have travelled all the nations.
I have looked for Him Him
in all the caves
and cliffs of all mountains
but could not locate Him
.
In the past
So many times in my dreams
He alerted me that
He will vanish.
I took it lightly
Lo! Ultimately
He has acted on his words.
I searched for Him
in all temples, all churches,
all Synagogues, all Gurudwaras,
all mosques, all Chaityas, Stupas
and Viharas,
Lo! He has ultimately done it
He has vanished for ever
Still I am waiting
for His Resurrection
Definitely He will come
I am sure he will return
one day.
He may come as a fish, a tortoise, a boar,
a half man-half lion bodied Narasimha, the clever dwarf,
the ferocious axe man Parshurama, or
in human form as the brave archer Rama,
the mesmerising flute player Krishna,
the wandering monk Buddha
or the horse rider Kalki.
But He will definitely return one day,
I am waiting for Him for centuries
by now with my constant gaze.
I am damn sure
He will definitely come,
To save the humanity from disaster.
Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti.
