Head Cold Poem by Paul Schroeder

Head Cold

I think I caught a cold again.
It started out low key.
I usually take good care myself,
But this time it caught me.

I think I've got a cold again.
It started out benign.
I got a very drippy nose
That's running all the time.

I got a runny nose again.
I seem to sniffle so.
I'm using tissues all the time
To catch the dripping flow.

My throat is sore.
My eyes are closed.
I don't know what to do.
It looks like I am sick again.
They say I've caught the flu.
