Good Old Time Poem by Paul Schroeder

Good Old Time

Rating: 4.5

My parents bought a car today
It's blue and green and red.
It's just the kind of car I like
To go full speed ahead.

We go riding every weekend.
We go cruising in our car.
We're having such a good old time
While driving near and far.

We tour some mountain passes.
We leave tracks along the climb.
We stop to eat a picnic lunch
While having a good old time.

A well articulated narrative piece of poetry, nicely penned with lovely rhyme scheme. A nostalgic experience well depicted in the piece. Thanks for sharing Paul. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
