Head Figure On A Coin Poem by Dedy Riyadi

Head Figure On A Coin

Rating: 5.0

Before the money, you often worry -
who is the king and who is the servant?
Like guessing the chink and opening
of images; is a number or a head.

One dinar, a head figure of Caesar,
no matter to rage; life is just looking money
to pay various and large bills and taxes?

Before the money, you feel penury -
Even though all fruits have been picked
from branches, and all trees cutted down
in the whole valley.

Still, he said, life is painful of saving and
looking for profit. And still somebody
will ask — "How much you get from
ten talents I've invested? "

However, it is not good for you to refuse
nor to reject. If there are thirty pieces of silver,
should you betray me too?
