I just wanted to say hi,
I didn't want to say bye,
Yet when I got to you,
You said we're through.
You left me,
Crying.
My friends left me too,
They left for you.
A teacher,
Who I like,
Sees me,
Crying,
And helps me up.
She cheers me up,
And lets me know,
'Guys aren't worth,
All this trouble.'
I thank her,
And walk away.
I look back,
And she's smiling.
I hold my head up high,
And say bye,
To you this time,
And I finally say,
'Goodbye, '
Forever...
