Healing Hands Poem by John Duffy

Healing Hands

Healing Hands

There once was a beautiful lady named Terri

Her life was happy and
Everything always seemed
Merry

But one day tradegy struck

Her comfortable life
Disappeared
And she appeared
Stuck in a perfect rut

But one night
She dreamt a deep dream

Angels appeared
From realms
Unseen

They whispered

We can help eradicate
Your pain

Help your once
Beautiful life
Find balance
Again

All you have to do
Is spread the light

Pick up a pen
And start to write

Help to take away
Someone's pain

Help them dance again
In life's glorious rain

Healing hands don't really
Have to be placed
Skin on Skin

Their divine energy and
Resonance
Can also be
Absorbed
By the ears and
Eyes

It's a divine secret
We now also share
With you

So write
As we all encourage
And watch

Happiness
In the service
Of others

Will help you renew
And climb out of that
Rut

To find that inner strength
You still search for too much

All poets
Musicians
Singers
And writers

But they share their stories
Again and again

So
Know you are not alone
But one of many who
Share
The Touch

Be expressive
Beyond excessive

Explore new thoughts
Walk dark walks

Encourage
Cajole
As you explore

For you're like all
Before

You
Now have
Healing Hands

Now go share their energy
Throughout the lands

Was it a dream
She thought as she awoke
Did Angels really visit me

Then she saw a white feather
Next to a new pen

And then her new life began
