Heaps Of Sky Poem by Kay Bressner

Heaps Of Sky

The clouds are gray,
heavy with rain, sea foam

Cream puffs piled high
on blue summer cake.

A perpetual holy day,
ours in which to partake

Celestial devotion; this sky
mirrors every emotion

Sunrise and coral sunset hues
ribbon wrap the starlight muse.
