Hear I Stand - Poem by Nicole Arishenkoff

Hear I stand upon these gates
I wait to see what will happen.
A bright light burst
It's hard to see
however a great god stands
before hand.
Young child he says,
you should not be here yet
so I shall let you leave once again.
What is he talking about I think,
But with a snap I'm back
to where I was before the pearly gates.
