Heart Confusion Poem by Laura Holcomb

The mistakes I made have left me here.
A place I loathe, with so much fear.
By why here
why now
many tears
somehow

I cry myself to sleep.
I dont believe
it happening to me

I dont understand
was it that bad
was love what we had

please tell me if im wrong
if I sing a love song
is this where i belong

my hearts so confused
were you abused.
is it i live to chose

believe hear me out
this isnt what im about
my heart's too confused
and it'll be left unused..
