Heart Strings - Poem by Jock Ridi

An hour a day
would go a long way
Is an hour too much?
like a committment or such?
what about thirty?
not enough time to get dirty?
your minds in the gutter!
dont' even think of the other
we're talking bout time
what's yours and what's mine
how can there be a solution?
when there is no infusion
show me a sign
that heart strings still bind
the silence unkind
speaks truth from the mind
