Heart Thin Shell. Poem by Destinee Gail

Heart Thin Shell.

Braking through the hearts thick shell,
it's protection from danger which,
lurcks right all around it,
The lonely thin heart beating within,
Helpless, pure, and unstained with the colors of sin,
The shell covers it from all the evil,
Suffering right above the surfice,
Shell forming layers upon layers,
So that the heart can never perce through,
Lonely thin heart stays untouched and clean,
The heart suffering from the protection,
Yet still yerns for which it has never felt,
The warmth, the love of something else,
But the shell stays in place around for it knows,
The evil and pain all around the heart,
Becoming weaker with every passing day,
not strong enough to move the shell out of,
Place its frozen there still and cold crying out for help,
But the heart still remains to have hope that one,
Day it will brake though its,
Own thik shell.
