Heartbeat Poem by David Olughu

Heartbeat

The sound of your voice makes my heart skip a beat.
A moment with you is like centuries in a fantasy world.
I wish I could hide one foot of your shoe, so I could have a Cinderella story with you.
You're a beauty, let me be your beast.
I could say to death, "Not today", just to have another day to stare at you face.
So what's the price to pay, to tap into your amazing Grace.
