God Loves You Poem by David Olughu

God Loves You

God loves you;
Quote me anywhere.
You could ask the fishes or the birds of the air,
how great, blissful and true.

God loves you;
I'll say it all the time.
It's so sweet, you could taste orange in life's lime.
It never gets old; it's always new.

God loves you;
I'll sing it again.
Even if my voice cracks, I'll endure the pain.
I'll continue till the skies cease to be blue.

God loves you;
I'll write it once more.
It has overwhelmed me, even to my core.
I'm more intoxicated than someone drunk on all the wine man can brew.

God loves you;
I'll scream.
Consciously I'll repeat even in the scariest dream.
It's the only hope to scale through.
