Heartbeats Of Lahore Poem by Sumita Jetley

Heartbeats Of Lahore

In Lahore's embrace, where dreams intertwine,
A son and a mother, beneath the skyline.
A path of the soul, he yearns to explore,
Beyond the known, to something more.

'Science heals bodies, ' the mother implores,
'But son, isn't life about something more? '
He nods with a smile, eyes shining bright,
'In divinity's arms, I seek my light.'

Lahore whispers tales in the rustling leaves,
Of destiny's dance, of how the heart believes.
A conversation, not of conflict but love,
Guided by the stars and skies above.

In each heartbeat, Lahore's wisdom sings,
Of dreams taking flight on spiritual wings.
A journey begins, not in discord, but harmony,
A son's quest for truth, in Lahore's symphony.
