Heartbreak Poem by Jean Eugene Guan

Heartbreak

I was losing my breath,
My heart beating out of frame.
I did not know what is happening.
Another called your name.
I did not know it is impending.
So naïve of what is going on.
He took your hand, caressed you.
You left me all alone.

And so the damage was made.
It broke a million or two
My vision starts to fade,
Cannot believe if that is true.
Do not know your love was taken,
That you gave it away.
Now, you have left me crying,
Knowing no one is to stay.
I hope that you will be happy.
I wish that you will be fine.
You gave your heart to someone else,
The heart that was before mine.
