What you are is not what I need.
I wanted a reaction, I wanted a plea.
To know that I was more then just some girl to you,
that you could use, then just set free.
Was our love real or just pretend?
Something you used to reel me in.
When we ended was that it for you?
Cause my heart still feels so close to you.
You say you still loved me then go on a date? !
Why do I keep taking your bait?
He loves me, He loves me not is the game I play each night
Just hoping one day I will get it right.
My mind says it is the end but my heart still holds on,
just wanting one more song.
It is time to say goodbye and let go
what now will my future hold?
my mind is set
but my heart is not,
what's left to do is to take the blindfold off my broken heart,
and take a deep breath in, for my brand new start.
