Hearts Remain. Poem by Michael Cochrane

Hearts Remain.

Oh Scotland draped in mist and heathered grace.
Where sleeping giant mountains lie.
The past recalls the lovers trace and threads their sighs in through moors and solemn skies.
In mirrored silver lochs that hearts can wander still.
Time forgets its mortal hurried flight and love remains.
