Heaven In My Heart (Sonnet #94) Poem by Tina Baaklini

Heaven In My Heart (Sonnet #94)

I feel swaying on the plates of a scale,
Bouncing between life's futilities.
How time is transient, should I win or fail,
Thus your love remains my priority.

Dizzy I feel in the maze of this life,
My soul belongs to God, not to this mess.
But your sweet love fills my heart with delight,
And I dwell in your heart of tenderness.

Your true love blossomed heaven in my heart,
Unconditional your devotion is.
Soft and patient with my mood swing you are,
From maze, life with you turns to an oasis.

True love swims deep beyond the realms we see,
From the shared roots of our hearts, our love beats.
