(Judas Iscariot)

So was it predestined?
cuz the master needed to die so we could have Life
or was the Devil at play?
cuz He witnessed the greatness of His Lord
but still,
He chose to betray.

I tell you!
careful how you use those lips;
cuz all it took was a kiss
one that saw Jesus to His last breath
you see Death had to be dealt with first
but wait!
does the curse still rest upon Him?
cuz woe is uttered against the land
of He who betrays the son of Man.

Listen!
the created can never match the creator
so did Satan use Gods' own
to at least try to settle the score?
even so,
guilty is what Judas was
but Gods' mercies run deeper
than the oceans' floor

lets think back to His decision
if 30 pieces of silver was the reason
then why repay it with His Life?

See!
guilt will sometimes
leave you hanging on a tree
but Grace sees past the mistake
so He takes off seeking redemption
but trips and falls
allowing guilt to devour His' soul

so to take his own life
He needs no pen to atleast write a note
but a rope and a final prayer in desperation
for He is so sorry that
He leaves us nothing
except for a lifeless dangling body
but to were does the soul escape?
