Heavy Heart Poem by Abdellah khalfi

Heavy Heart

I walk on the street with my heavy heart

I wet my eye by tears, to let my people see it shine

I make my lips wider to let them think it was a smile

I become a thief just to fed my pet

Then I cut my hand form my self's blame

I stand under the rain for days

I thought that it could really wash my dirt

I knocked myself down to rest, but still see a nightmare

I climbed to the summit of a mountain, and I fall down

I live between illusion and reality

I'm still walking on the street with my heavy heart

But my deep pain inspired me to draw it in words
