Heavy Rain Today

the rain pours heavily
on my roof
and all that i can hear
is its loud sound
pounding
like hammer on the table

the workers stopped digging
the waters fill in
i keep on writing about
a certain force
loud and insistent
mouthing every earned
silence

now, i have a good excuse
for being nothing
