A vivid dream in bright colours
Flashed across my eyes
I saw beautiful Heliconias
Growing in the wild...
Was I in Peru
Travelling through time?
I've never been there before
How did this come to mind?

I asked the dream as it passed through
Why it came to me
It said
I weave my way through the universe
Travelling through human minds
You happened to awaken
And caught me in your eyes
That's how you could see Peru
Without having to fly
You can't foresee the future
Though you can reminisce about the past
That image that you have in your head
It's not going to last
