Hell-Bottom Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Hell-Bottom

Moral values having fallen so swift
Humanity is declining to the hell-bottom
Countless souls having been moved about
Myriad heading in queue towards heavens

Numerous staying back here and there
Sheltering outside the walls of heavens
On the sea-shores, landscapes all about
Like refugees waiting entry on outskirts

Having realized one thing very clear-
Even if one makes a tiny insignificant slip
Around trillions and trillions more to swap
Replacing one immediately there and then

Subsisting or surviving not everyone-
During the fight for one's own existence
Each moment, an era of its transformation
A step closer to fulfillment of one's dreams

The voice is an expression of freedom
Appearing like a cut about the rest-
Moral values having fallen so swift
Humanity is declining to the hell-bottom.
