Herald Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Herald

Fed up of falsehood
Morality and hypocrisy
Getting in the way
Of musical comedy
Turning political!
Heralding: a new age
Comic caper, care free
Fresher, fresh in times
And all seasons.

Fed up of falsehood
Morality and hypocrisy
Getting in the way
Of musical comedy
Turning political!
Sift and select
Making conflict
Work for self
Exactly
Opposite of it.

Fed up of falsehood
Morality and hypocrisy
Getting in the way
Of musical comedy
Turning political!
Budding singers
Youth of the day
Can't wait to make
Make up singing
Traditional way
Singing-
Songs of the soil
In tune with music
Music of politics.
Be it, their rescue
Around the globe
Getting a chance
To try out-
A game to shine.

Fed up of falsehood
Morality and hypocrisy
Getting in the way
Of musical comedy
Turning political!
Lost or found
Feeling at home
Following intuition
A special invitation
To the war
Stirring-
A question mark
On false morality
And hypocrisy.

Always on time
And presentable
Feeling confident
And comfortable
First and foremost
Curiousness:
Listening to everyone
Just must-
Make it more creative.
