Sleep for
Another night.
Another lonely night
For me.
My silence unlike
The silence of the happy man
Does not know
What a smile is.
Its tongue
Tied, it does not utter
The syllable of the
Night.
It has no ears
To hear the coming
Footfalls of my beloved.
