Help Poem by Windsor Guadalupe Jr

Help

If only I could travel,
The speed of light, my only brazen fear
Will become the transit
Which will be the harbinger of the better days
Promised by every movement the arms of the clocks
Made in the passing of the whirring gears.

I want to quit this place that I am in,
And go to the ethereal
To soft arms
Warm body
Encompassing resilient hair
Garden of tulips
Ostensible kiss
Feigned love
Real memory
Genuine feeling
Inexorable departure
One leaves,
One stays.

If only I could marvel at an image,
The picturesque days of phosphorescent skin,
Will be the only beautiful scene
That I will be able to recognize as the
Plundered heart rests asylum in my sleep,
And twinge again in the waking

I want to quit this place that I am in,
And go to the ebullience of
The forked road of Gold and Alexandrite
There, everything will be all right
There, the lonely days will transform into revelling nights
Indisputable belongingness
Flight without a harness
Mouth like a barrel of a gun
Photographs of fun
Reality shunned
Fantasy reigning
Now, feigning
Trembling
Sighing
Leaving
Dying.
