Helpless Poem by Allyson Gordon

Helpless

Nothing matter now
Nothing is real any more
Life intertwined with death
Everything’s just a big blur

Suffocated by darkness
Drowning in pain
Wrapped in coldness
Blinded by fear

I’m so alone here
No one will save me
I’m helpless now
All I can do is wait

Wait for my heart to turn to stone
Wait for numbness to over whelm me
Wait for the call from darkness
To release me of my human form
