Helpless Laughter
Pierces like the thorn
At brink of dawn
All is forlorn
Save for the sound of laughter
Blown over sea
On winds it soars
Sounds of joy and of Glee
Pain it does cause
For to be all alone
Is to have not the laughter
That the wind to me had blown
