Her Poem by Brian Archibald

Her

Rating: 5.0

Your my sweet sorrow,
reason to stay who I am.
A beautiful girl,
whom without I feel alone.
Your the shining sun,
when my day is dark and decayed.
Eyes so deep,
I feel as if I can truly believe.
I can't go on not smiling,
for i'd be a standing sinner.
Is there such thing as a perfect love?
A reason to be who I am.
So lost in the moment,
everything else is forgotten.
A guilty smirk,
I couldn't seem to lose.
Until the day I met you,
helping me find myself on the inside,
is the best thing you've done for me.
Waiting for me to show up,
with the smile of an angel.
A forgiven past,
I've seem to lost.
I'm a winner now.
The perfect soul.
Accompany me,
please.
I've given up on this heartfelt drought,
you are the one I adore.
Forever more,
through wilts and woes,
I stand here reflecting always,
what you make me want to be.
Destiny is among us,
grace me with your presence
