She sees herself in his eyes
they tell her the truth
truth that so beautifully unfold
they show her what she has hidden
so well for a while now
from everyone else

shes sees her reflection,
weak, fading away in the others she sees
but it is in his eyes, it is there
that so clearly she reads

she sees his face
showing her all the love
asking for just love in return

she looks away,
the feelings in her heart
made her that way;
she regrets
she would have him looking at her
in the eyes every second that she's alive

she finds a place
for her heart in him
he holds her close
close to him
promising her with his heart
not a word he speaks
but she feels what his heart
is trying to say..
promising her he's der to stay

he is like her angel she believes
one who'll care
one who'll protect
one who'll never leave
