Shadows Of Her Past
There's wonder in her eyes
There's awe in her heart
For all the times she has passed
Through the shadows of her past
There's hope burning away in her soul
There's this light which will shine no more
She fears the flames will die soon
She feels.....all that will remain
Will be ashes of a time
She always wanted to last
She waits for someone to come by
To help her shine with light of his own
To show her the way
To ignite her hope
To caress her heart and
To linger in her soul

Oh, I love this poem. I felt the same, until I met Sean; he's the love of my life. Don't fall for just anyone, my sister. They will take your heart, soul, and mind, and leave the remains and doubt for your true love that doesn't deserve it. Trust me, I know. 10+
