I have a daughter
Who I've recently met
Its proof she's mine
I took a D.N.A test

She didn't want the baby
She wanted an abortion
I gave her the money
She kept the baby for extortion

That chapter of my life
I'd chose not to remember
She was born August of '96
I met her mom in November (95)

After a wild night of partying
We arrived at a motel
I was wasted and on ecstasy
So, I'm going to spare you the details

When I found out she was mine
I shed so many tears
I know your heart is broken
We've tried for 20 years

Its best for me to leave
Than to cause more pain in your life
If there's forgiveness in your heart
