Her First Response
For years,
I have been waiting for
Her first response.
It Came in four bits
“No, No, No”
And then followed with a
Breath taken “Yes! ”
My life has been
Like
“No, No, No”
Followed with an earth quaking “Yes! ”
I have just to sort the many “No”
From the single odd 'Yes! '
