Her Jesus Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Her Jesus

Her Jesus

No, am not Christian
But love song on Jesus.

He loves me in my way
Like Rumi, Shams, Hallaj.

Long ago left the mosque
And divorced synagogue!

But Jesus, as she sings
Has a home in my heart.

Come, cuddle in my bed,
Do not talk about church.

Just rewind, repeat the
Song of love and respect.

Sing of God in Heaven,
Water-walks of Jesus,
Keep giving, devotions.

No, never will convert
To any of the faiths,
Jew, Muslim, Christian.

Sing to me of Jesus.
Sing to me of Jesus.

Sing to me in your way
Ignore the lies of church.

I escaped the buildings
That deal with religions.

Close eyes to them all,
Come to me, sit on side.

I consume wine, bread
But not with parishes,
No priest's, Christian's.
