Her Unfinished Story Poem by Ziry Mora

Her Unfinished Story

The girl with a smile.
The girl with the stare.
It's like they can't see her.
It's like she's not there.

She's smart, she's pretty
But she knows more than you think.
"You don't really know me, "
"Just let those words sink."

She knows what she shouldn't.
She can't say those words.
They can't realize,
She's just a mockingbird.

They say what they want.
She takes it all in.
They don't know they're hurting her,
But she doesn't flinch.

She tries to scream.
She tries to run.
She looks at the glass,
It all looks so fun.

What she does to herself,
She doesn't realize,
Is silently killing her.
There's tears in her eyes.

She did it again,
The voice won her over.
It stings and it hurts.
Blood drips all over.

The cycle starts again.
It's back to the beginning.
This time again,
She won't be winning.

These words have a meaning.
Know what they say.
Please try to save her,
Before she drifts away.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
The story of a girl who hides her psychotic feelings and searches for someone who can understand her. I got angry with one of my family members and wrote this out of rage. I thought of an entire story with this.
