Her Whispers Poem by Nayanthara Rajeev

Her Whispers

Faces fade in and fade out
But your face faded in but averse to fade out.
Your face got dissolved where other faces chose to disappear.
I liked you, I came to you uninvited.
I kissed your world each time I met the shore
Lived and died on your shore but never retracted from my vow.
I whispered to you all the time through my shells
But you heard me only at times of solitude.
But I never, I never stopped my whispers.
One day you chose to dive, to dive in me
Coz you liked the wave
And you believed the wave is kind.
You dived above me but never through me.
I am not curvy like the river
Nor tasty like the lake
But, I am vast like the space
I offered you my salty tears
And you told me you don’t deserve it.
But I know you liked my waves.
You never came deep
For you feared you can’t elude from my depth
You feared you can’t get away from me
You feared you would steal my wealth
But I know u loved my waves.
You never asked to take you to my depth
Nor you wished to
But I must tell you
The depth is me, not my waves
The darkness of my depth has treasures and gems leading my soul
Ridges and cliffs making my aura
Corals and pearls, the culmination of my virginity
Venomous creatures, varmint for myself
You dived in the surface, glided in me
Coz you loved my waves.
You wish to be a tourist who admired my waves
But never an explorer who tasted my depth.
And I wish to take you in
To show my depth, its expanse
To drown you in my perspiration
To make you measure my intensity
To burn you in the fire of my lust
To conquer your manhood
And to give you an orgasm.
Calm and still I lay, accomplishing the lust of my soul
Defeating the coward in me
And making you fathom the real me, my intense flame of love.
