Her Young Eyes Poem by Clive Blake

Her Young Eyes

Her young eyes …
Gazed into the darkness,
Gazed into the night,
Gazed into the distance
Which was …
Far, far, far, from sight.

Her young eyes …
Gazed away from the present,
Gazed away from the past,
Gazed towards the future,
Which was coming to greet her …
Far, far, far, too fast …
