Here And There
Here stands the root of the ancient tree,
There soars its crown where the sky runs free.
Here flows the river, fresh and wide,
There it vanishes where ocean tides reside.
Here lies the foot of the steadfast mountain,
There its summit, crowned in light, stands certain.
Here the sun ascends, igniting the peaks,
There it sinks, where the last ember speaks.
Here the moon gleams, golden and bright,
There it wanes in the sorrow of night.
Here the waters rise from the restless sea,
There they return, fulfilling destiny.
Here music drifts in melodies sweet,
There silence lingers where echoes retreat.
Here life awakens in morning's embrace,
There it fades into time's quiet grace.
Here joy resounds in laughter's flight,
There sorrow deepens in the hush of night.
All things arise, all things decline,
In endless rhythms, both shadow and shine.
