Herky Poem by Kevin Seales

Now that halloween is finally done
And thanksgiving is not far away
I ate all my candy except for one
I'm saving it for thanksgiving day

I cannot wait to eat some turkey
I think i'll invite a friend
I wonder if the winhawks would send their Herky
If not, then i'll have to pretend

Having him here would be so much fun
We'd run and jump, and we'd play
And when our playtime is over and done
It'd be time for Herky to go away

Herky is a hero, and we all know this
The winhawks, they all love him best
He's our number one guy, the top of our list
He always passes the test

So here's to Herky, our biggest fan
The one that leads all the cheers
You are the one that will lend a hand
When someone is drowning in tears
