Herodians Poem by Dan Uriel

Herodians

who forbids me to tell you what hurt
when I walk home on the way
there was lukewarm darkness on the lawn
like velvet spray with the lean leaves
and they fell asleep under my feet
they growled quietly as struck and weak

and in the country are fragile villages
I was born there
they fell from the tree as of living law
as here these letters
and if the adult misfortune falls on them
they all shut to report misery
and it dusts

oh, that's not how I imagined the order
my soul is not so naive
I didn't think existence could make it easier
who is insidious
not a people that are afraid to answer
considering his eyes, he considers the answer
and vile if he distorts

my leader controls from within
people are not wild we are minds
our hearts, while you desire
not a memory card data
come on, freedom! You give me an order
so educate, let it play
nice, serious son
