Hey can you tell me
was this day
a good day for you
did you feel good
felt somewhat euphoric
did you spend the day well
or wasted the hours away

How can you tell me
talk about your life
you think it's a good life
a fine life for you
or do you hate all the time
that you have to spend
before you must die

Hear this i can tell you
it is not your own doing if
you feel you can't control this
don't believe those chanting
that you can shape this life
they were just the lucky ones
that were allowed control
