Hey Daddy Poem by The Inspired Inklings By Palak Kothari

Hey Daddy

Rating: 4.8

There is a child who looks like Me,
Years from now who won't be Free.
Whom you always rocked in your arms,
And kept her safe from all that harms.

The child sometimes got Rude
And So, others became Prude
You too were broken half,
Still tried making her laugh.

The child shouts out her Thanks Aloud,
For you knew when to stop holding her hand- with no doubt
And start looking her back with Proud.

The child who thinks you as her Subtle
Wishes to tell you something with no Fumble-
You holding my hand vanishes Troubles,
And with years passing by my love for you Doubles.

The child asks you to always walk along
And hold her little hand when days seem long,
Cause there're still many things to learn
For 'The Best Daughter' is the title she wants to earn.
